Fred Spindel
President and Founder

Fred Spindel is the President and Founder of Allied Systems, Industries.  Fred is a pioneer in the closeout industry.  He started his closeout business in Chicago in the early 60’s.  He moved to Las Vegas in 1969, where he continued to buy and sell close out merchandise through the end of the1980’s. 

In January of 1992, he started Allied Systems, the country’s first Dollar Store Developer.  ASI, the industry pioneer and leader, is the USA’s largest independent Dollar Store Developer for those individuals interested in owning their own business. In 2002, due to ASI’s continued growth and success, they moved into their new corporate headquarters. 

In early 2005, Fred felt that he needed to direct ASI in a new more flexible direction for their storeowners, so ASI began to offer potential storeowners a wider choice by allowing them to decide if they wanted to have a one-priced ($1.00) retail operation or a multi-priced operation with extreme value merchandise priced from $1.00 up to $10- $20.00. Thanks to Fred’s insight into the marketplace, and Allied’s national buying power, the new company owned multi priced concept store has been extremely well received by the buying public and ASI’s clients all across the USA as well.
